NHK kohaku 2008 Uta Gassen list revealed

The 2008 NHK Kohaku new years eve performers list has been released. The usual people are there, like SMAP and Ken Hirai and Koda Kumi and Ayumi Hamasaki, and joining them will be Jero, the African-American enka singer. Looking forward to seeing how he performs live.

No Gospellers and no Hikaru Utada makes me sad though >.<

Video Games Live

A Video Games Live concert took place in vancouver at the orpheum theatre today.... it was long, it was superb, everything I expected and more....

..... except they didn't show any actual game footage from any of the square enix games...... like they didn't have permission or something.... cause that would have blown the roof off the place.

The orpheum was packed though.... which is good for VGL and good for the Vancouver symphony as well.

Phillies win World Series.... Finally

After a 2-day rain delay the Philadelphia Phillies finally put an end to it and win game 5 4-3 to take the series 4-1 over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Canucks vs. Ducks Oct 5th

I got to go to the final pre-season game for the nucks last night as they faced-off against the ducks.... It was more of like a scouting mission for me as I A) will need to sell tickets for these seats for games later on in the season, and B) I need to pick another guy for my hockey pool cause bastard Patrick O'Sullivan is being an ass about his contract.

Anyway, that's the view from the seat, its actually pretty close, I always forget how close to the action you are once you sit in the lower bowl.

Mariners' player threatens to "knock out" Ichiro

A report has surfaced on ESPN that a Mariners' player wanted to "knock out" Ichiro during the season. The Mariners are the worst team in baseball, especially when you consider that their payroll is over $100 million dollars. That's $1 million dollars per loss! Good Job M's!

To the guy who wants to knock Ichiro out, fess up bud, cause you and about 20 other Mariners players who've stunk it up this season deserved to be knocked out.
